Annual Report 2024–2025
At Manatee Children’s Services, accountability and transparency are essential to our mission. We are proud to share our 2024–2025 Annual Report, highlighting the impact made possible through the support of our community. This year, we served more than 16,000 children and families across prevention, intervention, treatment, and residential programs in Manatee County. From forensic interviews and medical evaluations through our Child Protection Team, to trauma-focused therapy, kinship support services, and safe shelter for abused and neglected children, our programs work together to break the cycle of child abuse.
In 2024–2025, we:
- Served 83 children in our Emergency Shelter and licensed group homes
- Provided trauma-focused treatment to 178 children
- Reached 13,822 children through prevention education programs
- Maintained a 96%+ success rate in residential safety skill mastery
- Continued operating with 89% of expenses dedicated directly to program services
- This year also marked significant growth for our agency
Through our “Welcome to Our House” capital campaign, we unified our programs under one roof, strengthening collaboration and service delivery. Even in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, our team remained steadfast in providing safety, stability, and healing to children in crisis.
