MCS provides training to community professionals in Manatee County on the identification or determination of abuse or neglect. This includes DCF (Department of Children and Families) staff, law enforcement, school personnel, physicians, medical personnel, and GALS.
Our training includes public and media presentations on child abuse as well as specific trainings designed to develop and maintain the professional skills and abilities of those handling cases involving child abuse, abandonment, and neglect.
At Manatee Children Services, we support professional growth through employee orientation and providing ongoing training opportunities. This training is designed to enhance the knowledge base, skills, and abilities of our personnel. All our personnel is required to receive orientation and training specific to their position, thus contributing to possibilities of job advancement, increased job performances, and fulfillment of our continuing education requirements.
